Gym Antics

    So there is this guy at the gym I belong to that always dances in between reps while working out. He will sit down at a weight machine and do his first set of reps then he stands up and dances a little, will walk around the machine, then sit back down and do another set. It can be a bit annoying because I just want to tell him to sit down and behave he's in a gym full of people. My dad and stepmom also go to the same gym and I was telling them about this guy and they knew exactly who I was talking about. The both believe he does it for attention as a way/reason for people to look at him. I'm not sure I agree with that. Maybe he just likes to groove to his workout music.
   
    There are so many times where I myself want to either dance along or belt out the song I am listening to but I don't want to be watched or anyone think I'm crazy. I sort of envy the guy for doing what every he wants to do. Yes it can be annoying and distracting but he's not hurting anyone. When I work out at home I sing as loud as I can while doing an exercise, although sometimes I can't do it because I am panting too much. You will never see me on the treadmill at the gym dancing and singing but I always want to. So dancing guy at the gym I say to you, keep doing it if that's what get you through the workout. Have fun and be yourself.
