I understand that the job you have now may not be the one you really want but when you are at work you should actually do work. Yesterday I was working with these two girls who were driving me crazy. One was snapchatting and the other was texting constantly on her phone meanwhile I was actually getting shit done. I did everything we needed to get done by myself basically. I was so annoyed and ended up in a bad mood that continued into today. Plus one of the girls kept talking about this other job she wants to apply for so she can quit this job. Why would you say that at work? I have seen people job search at work and I don't understand why. Your boss could be listening or even looking on your computer's history. He or she may not hear it directly from your mouth but possibly a coworker so not a good idea.
I came in to work today and my friend came up to me asked me how last night was so I told her and she said that her boyfriend who was also working last night too in a different department said he felt bad for me because I was stuck doing everything. He said I should have just asked to go home since no one else was helping but of course I wouldn't do that. I also had to work with snapchatting girl again today and she mentioned how fun last night was. Umm yeah maybe fun for you because you weren't running around like crazy doing things. I am not saying you can't have any fun or anything but at least do the work you are suppose to do at work. Work is for work. I need to forget about the other night and move on to tomorrow so that I don't have another bad day. It's all about the attitude, right?
Anyone else have similar frustrations at work? I tend to find this happens a lot near a certain group of people at work. I'm finding it hard to not let it bother me since it just keeps happening. Sorry for the venting but maybe you can relate.
