I understand that the job you have now may not be the one you really want but when you are at work you should actually do work. Yesterday I was working with these two girls who were driving me crazy. One was snapchatting and the other was texting constantly on her phone meanwhile I was actually getting shit done. I did everything we needed to get done by myself basically. I was so annoyed and ended up in a bad mood that continued into today. Plus one of the girls kept talking about this other job she wants to apply for so she can quit this job. Why would you say that at work? I have seen people job search at work and I don't understand why. Your boss could be listening or even looking on your computer's history. He or she may not hear it directly from your mouth but possibly a coworker so not a good idea.
I came in to work today and my friend came up to me asked me how last night was so I told her and she said that her boyfriend who was also working last night too in a different department said he felt bad for me because I was stuck doing everything. He said I should have just asked to go home since no one else was helping but of course I wouldn't do that. I also had to work with snapchatting girl again today and she mentioned how fun last night was. Umm yeah maybe fun for you because you weren't running around like crazy doing things. I am not saying you can't have any fun or anything but at least do the work you are suppose to do at work. Work is for work. I need to forget about the other night and move on to tomorrow so that I don't have another bad day. It's all about the attitude, right?
Anyone else have similar frustrations at work? I tend to find this happens a lot near a certain group of people at work. I'm finding it hard to not let it bother me since it just keeps happening. Sorry for the venting but maybe you can relate.
This blog is my thoughts and feeling that I would like to share with you. You know when you have something you really want to tell your best friend and you can't wait? Well now I'm not going to only share with my best friend but with you, my new friend.

Must Have Monday... on Tuesday...
I know it's not Monday but I was planning this post for yesterday but it didn't happen. You know how life is sometimes. Anyways this week's Must Have Monday is my favorite hair products. I have fine blond hair so when I blow dry it I like to use products that give it a little more volume.
I don't use them all everyday but these are my frequent ones.
The first one is Fekkai Summer Hair- this is a beach waves spray so I use this when I want my wavy hair to be a little more wavy. I like this product because it doesn't make my hair crazy and out of control.
The second one is Rusk W8less plus hairspray- this is the only hair spray I like. It doesn't become sticky and my hair doesn't get greasy either. It's very workable.
The third is Batiste Dry Shampoo in cool and crisp fresh- I can not live without this product. I have tried tons of other dry shampoos but this one is doesn't make my hair sticky or clumpy. My hair is super soft and more voluminous.
When blow drying my hair these three are essentials. I first put on the Bumble and Bumble Prep Spray. I spray throughout my hair them comb it through making sure to get it all over. Then I use the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray and do the same as the Prep Spray. Lastly to make sure my flyaways are non existent I use the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Finishing Crème. I put a little on the tips of my fingers and run it over my problem area of flyaways.

Gluten Free Pumpkin Baking
Today my friend and I made a bunch of gluten free pumpkin recipes. Some were really good and others were absolutely terrible! I love fall and pumpkin flavored things so much. I had my mom try some of the good ones and she thinks they're so good we should sell them. I kind of like that idea. They were easy to make and it's really hard to find tasty gluten free baked goods. If you do find them they are either really hard, crumbly, or disgusting. Maybe we could set up a table at a local craft show or something. I might actually look into that. I think it would be fun and the food is pretty good if I do say so myself.
Sorry for the bad pictures but these are the pumpkin spice latte nutella muffins. They were the best!
We made them in mini's and the larger muffins.
This is brownies with a pumpkin swirl and they tasted gross!
These are pumpkin rice crispy treats, delicious! We made two more recipes, one was a type of chocolate pumpkin pie and it was really nasty the other was pumpkin chocolate chip cookies which were a close second to the muffins!

Target
Target is the worst but yet, I love Target so much! I went there today to buy a birthday card and came out with $50 worth of stuff. What the heck happened? I have no idea! This happens every time I go anywhere near a Target. That bull's-eye logo just sucks you in and you forget time and spend a lot more than you want to. I know I am not the only one because my friends and family are the same exact way. I also saw a bunch of posts on Pinterest about it too so it's a real issue. Wonder if there is like a help group or addiction counseling for it. If so sign me up!

Break Room Awkwardness
No matter what my job is when I have a break I don't like spending it in the break room instead I like to leave and get fresh air. It still feels like work even if I'm just eating lunch. It has nothing to do with loving or hating my job because I have had both types of jobs and still feel the same. The other day I went to Panera for lunch and I was going to eat it there but the line took forever so I decided to take it back to work and eat it quickly in the break room. Turns out one of my managers had the same lunch time so I was stuck in the break room with her. Usually the TV is on so it's no so silent but for some reason that day it was off. She was sitting there looking at the news on her phone and I was across the table eating my salad looking at my phone.
The problem with eating salad when it's so silent is that it sounds so loud because of the crisp lettuce. I hate hearing others chew especially when it's silent so I was doing my best to eat extremely quietly but if you've eaten a salad you know that's very hard to do! It was so awkward I promise you. At one point my manager left for a minute and I just shoved my face with my loud food. Plus the fact that we weren't talking was adding to the awkward silence filling the room. Never eating in the break room again!
Let's talk about the fridge in the break room. Ours is always full which doesn't make any sense to me because I never see anyone carry anything in with them. Where does all that junk come from? The only thing I put in the fridge is my lunch leftovers which I tend to leave overnight because I forget to bring them home but I solved that problem. I've been putting my car keys in the bag with them and have yet to leave my lunch there since.
Now what are people cooking in that microwave that smells so bad? It smelled like someone died the other day. I walked in there with another coworker and we wanted to walk out due to the horrid smell. What smells so bad and why would you eat something so stinky? I hope they used a breath mint or gum after...
Have you ever had an awkward lunch at work?

Must Have Monday
In middle and high school (maybe college) your status is defined based on the number of friends you have. In the real world that is not the case and I couldn't be happier. I don't care how many friends I have, to me, what counts is how many best friends I have because these best friends have been there for the long haul and love me and all my flaws. If I had to choose between having a 100 friends or 3 best friends I would without a doubt choose the 3 best friends. I have five best friends including one family member (my sister). With these five girls I know I can share with them anything I want or need to. They have my back, they love me, and care for me and I them. So for this Monday my must have is my best friends.
Four out of five of my best friends do not live in the same state as me. They live in Seattle, North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. It doesn't matter if I haven't talked to them in a while or haven't seen them because when I do it's like nothing has changed. Recently while I was in South Carolina I visited my best friend who lives in North Carolina. I hadn't talk on the phone with her in months because neither one of us like talking on the phone. We of course had been texting, Facebooking, and tweeting but we hadn't spent any time together since December when she got married. I was a little worried visiting her since I hadn't been able to spend any time with her after her wedding but my worries were stupid. When I got there it was as if nothing had changed and I loved it. We both vented and had good heart to heart conversation. I only got to spend a couple hours with her but they were special and I can't wait to visit another friend who I haven't seen in a while! Go grab your best friend and enjoy a little relaxation before summer is over!
